Land Divination

7 month in person journey to learn the art of land divination.

Through connecting to the spirits of the land we can divine messages by learning how to scry water, plants, sky, earth, flowers, animals, and all other pieces of nature. In this seven month series, we will learn how to develop a connection with the land so we can live in right relationship with the natural world and all the beings, mortal or immortal, that dwell here.

Land Divination is also a form of grief medicine as we learn to cherish all cycles of life and learn to continue the relationship with beings on the other side.

Over these seven months together, you will learn to create your own language, dictionary, and glossary to speak to the spirits as everyone will have a different communication they develop with the spirits that show up for them. This is a form of animism and belief that all life is equal and all life deserves respect and reciprocity. Before we ask anything of the land we first offer healing, truth, and love.

When we become land diviners, we carry the responsibility and the love of the land with us. The land is you and you are the land. This connection already exists within you, this is just your chance to awaken it.

By the end of this course, everyone will have a deeper relationship with the land and have the basic knowledge of learning to read earth, soil, sky, water, plants, and animals—the same as you would learn to read Tarot. This is just the beginning of your relationship with the Land and it will give you the tools to start a practice of your making.

We will collectivley learn different ritual practices, ceremonial working and magical ways to connect to the earth. These teachings will come from a combination of Liri’s Balkan (primarily Albanian) lineage and different trainings she has undergone throughout her life and practice.

We will also learn the basics of plant ID, the doctrine of signatures, basic elemental herbalism, proper ethical wildcrafting and how to be of service to your community (land, plant, animal & human).

We will meet in person in the Hudson Valley / Catskills / Shawangunk Ridge at a different outdoor trail or natural location once a month for 3 hours for 7 months in a row. There will be an optional group chat to join to communicate between meetings. When we meet at the various locations please be ready in comfortable walking/hiking gear (sometimes there will be options to swim) and bring lunch, snacks, water and any other medical supplies you may need. There will be a more comprehensive to bring item list sent to you prior to our first meeting.
